Big White Lie: "A Black Man Did It! "
64Are "YOU" tired of this yet?
Here we go again! It’s not the first time and it probably won’t be the last. This time it’s suburban Philadelphia mother-- Bonnie “Lying Piece of Crap” Sweeten screaming “A BLACK MAN DID IT!”
Mrs. Sweeten called 911 operators claiming two “black” men in a “black” “Cadillac” had bumped her” 2005 GMC Denali, carjacked her and stuffed her in the trunk of their car.
For added effect, this crazy mother of three went so far as to include her nine year-old daughter in her misleading misadventure by informing 911 operators that the young girl was in the trunk with her.
Fearing the worst, Philadelpia's finest was mobilized. Hours later the whole thing turned out to be a hoax.
Not only had she not been abducted, she and her daughter were found “chill'n ” with Mickey and Minnie down at Disneyland with $12,000 dollars (of possibly stolen money) to play with.
What tha..?
Haven't "YOU" heard this “Black Man Did it!” story before?
McCain Supporter's BIG WHITE LIE: May have cost him election.
The "YOU" I am referring to
…is all of “YOU” , all Americans regardless of race. But the “YOU” I am trying to appeal to primarily is “WHITE” America, “YOU” have to not be so quick to fall for the BIG WHITE LIE.
As alluded to in the video, there was a time in this county when such an accusation would have gotten my father, my son, or myself--KILLED!
Yet even as the media is proving her to be the cold calculating liar that she is, this story is quickly fading from the headlines and many people around the country are quietly coming to her defense.
Some are saying that she has a mental condition. Some are saying that she was stressed out from marital or financial troubles.
AMERICA, who “today” isn’t stressed out about something?
Will one of “YOU” do what she did if you get too stressed?
So…
Are you tired of the BIG WHITE LIE--“A BLACK MAN DID IT”?
Are “YOU” tired of this yet?
I know “WE” (African Americans) are!
We are sick and tired of being sick and tired of it.

One thing that I would like to point out is that reverse racism can breed more racism. I know it is a fictional story but there is a lesson to be learned from it (Higher Learning). The country white guy (I believe his name was Remmy) got to the college and was looking to fit in. He hadn't really been around any African Americans, and so the only ones he was exposed to intimidated him, partied while he was trying to sleep. All he wanted to do is fit in, and the only people that offered him a belonging was the Neo-Nazi's. They used his vulnerability to brain wash him into believe what they believed, and an innocent woman died because of it. Now what if his dorm mates instead of treating him so bad, tried to include him. Remmy would probably have been partying and listening to rap music. This movie made a good point, and it is something to think about before you stereotype someone or treat them a certain way because of their race (even if you felt like you and/or you ancesters were wrong). Those that are not part of the solution are part of the problem. Reverse racism is just as bad and twisted as racism.
I would also like to point out that racial prejudices is only a small portion of the prejudices. People are also discrimated and stereotyped by sex, sexual orientation, and even by their weight. http://hubpages.com/hub/Discrimination-against-the I hope you don't mind me including a link to a hub that I had written a few days ago. I only did it to make my point. There are many less obvious prejudices that are just as bad and affect people just as much. I look forward to reading some more of your articles. I really enjoyed sociology and psychology in college, and I like debating political and social issues. You posted a comment on one of my hubs, and I think you and I might end up having some interesting debates., and I am waiting for the next hub.

This is not meant to offend you, just hopefully open your eyes. By grouping people by race, and making it a YOU vs US, then you are just as much a part of the problem in America as the YOU that YOU are refering to. I am a Native American/German married to a Black/Hispanic. Everyday I see the racism go back and forth, with both sides trying to justify their beliefs. Whites blame all of their problems on blacks, and blacks blame all of their problems on whites. Until eveyone stands up and quits blaming their flamming problems on everyone else and start trying to figure out how to better themselves, then the problem will never go away. I agree with a small portion of your article, the part about the problem with how a white woman can blame a black man and everyone is so quick to believe her. Don't you think there will be a point when everyone will quite believing it. The whole never cry wolf story.
